The Country Club of Roswell’s Golf Professional team is lead by Tim M. Farrell, originally from Rochester N.Y. and a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He has administered our golf program since 1989. He also served as President of the Georgia Professional Golfers Association in 2000 and 2001 and in 2001 received the Association’s highest honor when he was named Golf Professional of the Year. Tim currently serves as a trustee on the Georgia State Golf Foundation and the Georgia Golf Environmental Foundation. He has also been a member of the Allied Golf Association Board of Directors since its inception in 2001.
Country Club of Roswell’s Director of Tennis, Matt Grayson, played most of his tennis career in Texas, but his family members are native Georgians. He is a graduate of Baylor University with degrees in Business Broadcasting and marketing. While attending school, he played tennis and volleyball for the university. As a summer job, he played on the Jose Cuervo Beach Volleyball Tour. This was a two-on-two professional sand volleyball tour in Florida.
Matt has spent his entire teaching career in the Atlanta area. He began as an assistant tennis professional at Atlanta Country Club and Atlanta Athletic Club and then moved to Laurel Springs as the head tennis professional. In 2003, Matt joined the Country Club of Roswell staff as the head tennis professional and moved into the director role in 2004.
Matt is certified with the United States Professional Tennis Association with a Professional-1 rating and has served on many boards and committees on the local and southern levels. Matt was honored as the Head Professional of the Year 1999-2002 by the Georgia Professional Tennis Association and as the Southern Professional of the Year by the USPTA in 2002 and 2003. Matt also enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and daughter, Sophia.
Jeff began his career in Bowling Green Ohio where he went to work at a family restaurant by the name of Kauffman’s. Kauffman's sent Jeff to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. After A Few more years at the restaurant he moved to Findlay, Ohio and became the Assistant Chef of the Findlay Country Club. After 4 years he moved on to Kokomo Country Club where he spent the next 20 years. Jeff held a variety of positions at Kokomo Country Club from cooking, bartending, dining room manager, assistant manager and finally Club Manager. Jeff left Kokomo to take the General Manager's position at Lexington Golf & Country Club in Lexington Virginia. With a desire to own his own business, he later joined with his brothers to create and build a small town family restaurant. The WEST-INN Diner in Weston, Ohio. In 2008, Jeff joined the Country Club of Roswell as Food & Beverage Director.
