CHRIS HUTCHINSON NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Founded in 1927, USPTA is the world’s oldest and largest association of tennis-teaching professionals with more than 15,000 members worldwide. The Georgia chapter’s focus is on continuing education and networking to elevate the standards of tennis-teaching professionals and coaches statewide.

The Rookie of the Year awards judging is based on: contribution to the tennis community, USPTA Georgia affiliation and involvement, and displaying exceptional professional standards of quality as a player and a coach.

“We are all very proud of Chris,” said Matt Grayson, Athletics/Tennis Director at the Country Club of Roswell. “He has been a great addition to the staff at CCR and has built the junior program from the grassroots up to the point that we will be starting the Roswell Tennis Academy in January 2012”

2012 marks the launch of a new junior Tennis Academy at Country Club of Roswell. The Roswell Tennis Academy will be run as a high quality academy with low ratios of students to pros. The primarily clay- court based academy will give students the opportunity to grow their game with a highly personalized instructional program.

Country Club of Roswell is a private, member-owned, family-focused country club on the east side of Roswell. The Club features an 18-hole golf course, aquatic center, tennis facility, and full-service clubhouse and garden.
