Jeff Martinez - Food and Beverage Director

Jeff began his career in Bowling Green Ohio where he worked for a family restaurant by the name of Kauffman’s. They were so intrigued by his performance that they {the Kauffman’s} sent him to study at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. After spending a few more years at their restaurant, he moved to Findlay Ohio where he became the Assistant Chef at the Findlay Country Club. Four years later, he moved to Kokomo Indiana to further his career. During his 20 years of service at the Kokomo Country Club, he executed every job possible to include cooking, bartending, dining room manager, assistant manager, and finally, to serve as club manager. The next stop in his career saw him as General Manager of the Lexington Golf & Country Club in Lexington, Virginia. Jeff had always had a driving desire to have his own business and arranged to join with his brothers to form an LLC. Together they created and built a small town family restaurant, the WEST-INN Diner in Weston, Ohio. In 2008, Jeff then answered the calling of the Country Club of Roswell, where he is currently the Food & Beverage Director.
 


Jonathan Mayer - Executive Chef



Jonathan Mayer, Executive Chef comes to Country Club of Roswell from some of the top clubs in the Northeast.  Chef Jon is credited with reinvigorating the culinary operations of his last two properties and creating a destination dining experience.  He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has more than 20 years' experience in food service management.  He enjoys working and creating fare both healthful and delicious.

Kymberly Purvis- Director of Catering and Sales

 

 

 

While attending Kennesaw State College, Kymberly recognized her passion for event planning. Soon after College, she accepted a position at Capital City Club as an Assistant Director of Catering and a few years later accepted her first position as Director of Catering and special events.  Kymberly has enjoyed 23 years in the food and beverage industry and has worked in many capacities which she feels gives her a certain edge on guest needs and expectations. She has shared 10 years of exceptional service as a Director of Catering at the Ravinia Club, Marietta Country Club, and Dunwoody Country Club. Kymberly is also a GA. Certified wedding professional. She has worked planning over thousands of various events.  She has served on the board of directors for the NACE, National Association of Catering Executives. In addition has enjoyed a membership with NACE for over 13 years.

Additional, accreditations include, five national educational conferences, and various continued education seminars and certifications in Event planning and design. She has also accepted multiple awards as Employee of the month from the Capital City Club and employee of the year at Dunwoody Country club.

Kymberly now enjoys a career at the Country Club of Roswell where she is enthusiastic about the future and assisting all of our members and guests with their special events.
