For the last 12 years our annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance has topped our list of favorites. The girls look forward to their date with dad, and of course they love getting a new dress for the event! You can see the fun they are having at the right.
An example of our calendar of events include a Summer Youth Program which takes place Tuesday – Friday during the months of June and July. Our version of ‘Mom’s Morning Out”, creates an opportunity for parents to take advantage of club sponsored activities or outside venues and not have to worry about the kids. This program includes games, crafts, sports activities and swimming from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Every Wednesday, we present a special educational program featuring an individual or an organization from within our local community. There is no extra charge for these programs, it is all inclusive in the daily fee of $20.00 per day per child.
Santa is sure to make an appearance every December with a special gift for each child in attendance along with an individual picture to add as a special take home memory. This Saturday morning event is followed by a family “Cook In” buffet. Be sure to make reservations for this one too because even grandma and grandpa get into the holiday spirit for this one.
The annual Halloween Carnival is a favorite for kids of all ages. There are lots of games, prizes and plenty of candy to go around. Following this event is a Spooktakular Family Buffet and parade of costumes throughout the Clubhouse. This event is always a sell out, so call early for reservations!
Spring emerges with a visit from the Easter Bunny and the parade of youngsters lining up for the big "Egg Hunt" in the Garden is overwhelming. In the blink of an eye, the eggs are snatched up and baskets are full to the brim wih their "take"!
Junior Golf Program Long known for it’s strong junior programs, CCR continues to raise the bar offering clinics through spring, summer and fall for juniors of all ages and abilities. Private lessons and golf camps are available for juniors striving to raise the level of their game. After attending a mandatory etiquette class, children may participate in the junior play day every week during the summer. Whether your child is a wee-linkster, hip-hugger or tournament player, the programs at CCR prepare your child for a lifetime of great golfing. Junior Tennis Programs Rising Stars Tennis Program is for children between 4 and 8 years old. The youngsters will be playing on 30 feet and 60 feet courts with junior tennis racquets, foam balls and shortened nets. The initiative behind this program is teach kids how to rally and to gradually introduce them to full court tennis.
Rising Star Tennis is a fun way to develop your child’s the technical, tactical and physical development, and along the way, provide your children an opportunity to love tennis and grow in the sport beginning at a very young age. The Junior Excellence Tennis Program is for older beginners, ages 9 thru 16, who have little or no exposure to the game. This class emphasizes basic fundamentals of forehand, backhand, serve and rules of the game. The goal of this class is to get your older children enthusiastic about tennis and advance them to league and school tennis programs.
The Junior Tennis Academy is designed for intermediate and advance juniors, ages 9 thru 18, who are interested in taking their games to the next level for either the Junior Davis Cup League, Junior ALTA, USTA tournament tennis, or their school team. The Academy class entails intensive stroke production. Students will concentrate on footwork, spins, shot selection and they will also learn how to be mentally tough in match play.
