LPGA/USGA Girl's Golf Club @ CCR

The CCR Girl’s Golf Club is looking for young girls between the ages of 9 yrs. and 18 yrs. who have an interest in the game of golf.  This 2010 season will be our sixth year in operation and in 2009 we had over 30 junior girls enrolled in the program.    
 
Our Girl’s Golf Club is affiliated with the LPGA/USGA Girl’s Golf Club, which has more than 6,000 girls participating at more than 180 sites nationwide. 
 
Our objective is to help young girls learn to play golf, build lasting friendships and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment, preparing them for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game. Girls are learning values inherent to the game of golf, such as practice, respect, perseverance, and honesty, preparing them to meet challenges of today's world with confidence.
 
The club meets at least once a month, typically for 90 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, and every meeting is themed accordingly to the events happening that month. 
 
Our first meeting of 2010 will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.  Enrollment in the program is $75 for the year, a portion goes to the LPGA Foundation and each girl receives an LPGA/USGA Girl’s Golf Club membership with goodie bag, newsletters, and an official membership card which gets them free entry as a spectator at any LPGA event.  All costs associated for monthly events are covered by the $75 enrollment fee.  Additional costs would be when a 9-hole golf cart fee is charged for events like the Parent/Daughter Scramble, etc… where we are actually out on the course playing golf with a cart.
