Professional Golf Staff

The Country Club of Roswell’s Golf Professional team is lead by Tim M. Farrell, originally from Rochester, New York and a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He has administered our golf program since 1989. He also served as President of the Georgia Professional Golfers Association in 2000 and 2001 and in 2001 received the Association’s highest honor when he was named Golf Professional of the Year. Tim currently serves as a trustee on the Georgia State Golf Foundation and the Georgia Golf Environmental Foundation. He has also been a member of the Allied Golf Association Board of Directors since its inception in 2001.

Jackie Cannizzo is originally from Syracuse, New York and holds a degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington where she attended on a golf scholarship. She played golf professionally on the both the Futures Tour and the European Women’s Tour prior to becoming a PGA member in 1989. She joined our staff in 1996. Since then she has built our Junior Golf Program into what has become the model for many other private Country Clubs in the Metro Atlanta area. She is also a very accomplished teacher and was named one of the top ten golf instructors in the State of Georgia by Golf Digest Magazine and was named one of the top fifty teachers for juniors in the United States by US Kids Golf. She is a Past President of the Georgia Junior Golf Foundation and also served on the Susan G. Komen Board of Directors. Jackie also holds the distinction of being the first member of the Professional Golfers Association of America to compete in the USGA’s United States Women’s Open Championship. Jackie was recognized by her peers when she was named as the Assistant Professional of the Year and Junior Golf Leader by the North Chapter of the Georgia PGA. She was also named the Georgia Section PGA’s Junior Golf Leader in 2004.

Lisa Chirichetti was raised in Western Pennsylvania and attended Indiana University on a golf scholarship. She competed professionally on the Futures Golf Tour. She joined the PGA in 1996 and taught for John Jacobs Golf Schools and Swing’s the Thing Golf Schools before joining our staff in 2002. In 2005, Lisa was voted by her peers as one of the top teachers in the state of Georgia in Golf Digest Magazine. In 2006 she received the Junior Golf Leader award from the North Chapter of the Georgia PGA

Luciana Bemvenuti was born and raised in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She attended the University of Georgia on a golf scholarship before playing professionally on the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s Tour for fifteen year prior to joining our staff in 2006. She is currently enrolled in the LPGA’s Teaching Division’s certification program.
