Team Play is interclub league play between teams comprised of two "A" Players, two "B" players, two "C" players and two "D" players from the two competing clubs. Each club plays a home and home match with every other club in the league and the squad that accumulates the most points over the course of the year wins the league championship. We would like to congratulate the WGA Ladies for a job well done this year for Team Play. Last year we came in second place and this year through alot of perseverance and hard playing we captured the Trophy for 2009. The last time that CCR won the Trophy for Team Play was in 1999. It was a well fought battle though because when our Ladies went to Rivermont in August we lost the match 11-1..Our last match of the season was against Rivermont and we played it on the 21st of October.. Our CCR Ladies had to take a total of 8 1/2 points from Rivermont to secure First Place...We took 9 1/2 points that day and we ecstatic about that.. Next year we host the End of the Year Tournament so Ladies we are also defending our Trophy so everyone please come out and support us. Many Thanks to our Pro Shop for all of their help in picking our Team, and for being there for us..Thanks, Happy & Kim..P.S.
