The Thursday Ladies Teams for the Spring ALTA season are posted below. 

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU MOVE TO THE TEAMS. 
After reviewing all the requests for movement on the player commitment forms, we were able to grant requests and add the new players into the rosters.  Since everyone's request was able to be granted we went ahead and made those initial moves.  Players can review the teams they are on and still move using the rules we set up last season.  The final rosters will have to be submitted to the tennis staff by 7pm on January 18th so we can enter them in the ALTA system the following day.  Please make sure and notify the captains of the teams affected and the tennis staff if you are making a move from the teams listed below.

Thursday Ladies Flex-move Rules for 2012

1)      Players will then have the ability to move to another desired team by the following rules:

        a.      All players that sign up as a regular player will be able to play on ALTA rosters.

        b.      Must inform the pros of potential move (pros cannot make the move or refuse the move, but they must be notified)

        c.      Players can’t leave their existing team if that move will leave the former team below 12 players.  It is that players responsibility to find a replacement (to keep their old team at 12 players) if they want to move.

       d.      Each team will have a cap of 14 players + subs

                            i.      Regular players will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 times to play each season

                           ii.      Subs will be allowed to play 1 or 2 times per season if the captain wants to rotate them in the line-up as long as everyone on the team is offered their 4 minimum times to play. They can be offered additional times if regular players are not available.

 2.     Each time a sub plays (1 or 2 times) they will be charged a $15 F&B charge for food.  This will go towards the Thursday Ladies F&B bill at the end of the season.

 3.      If a sub plays three times in a single season they will be included in the regular F&B billing for the season.

    e.      No team can deny a player access if they are not at the cap of 14 players

    f.        If more people apply to be on a roster than spaces are available (after the initial postings based on the commitment form requests are processed), the team can vote to which player is taken in order to fit their needs.

    g.      New members to the Thursday Ladies Program will get an evaluation by the pros to determine which teams they should join. The pros will give the new member the contact information for the captains and notify the captain of the new member.

    h.      If a new member joins the club after the rosters are due to ALTA, but before the 1^st match, they can be made a regular on the team if that team is not at cap and will sub if team is at cap.  If they join after the matches have begun, they can be added as a sub.

    i.      Pros reserve the right to add new members to the team if they deem that player is the correct fit for that team.

4.     If we reach enough players to warrant a new team (or lose a team) we will begin with the posting from the USTA dynamic rating and start the movement process again.

Captain Election meetings will be on Friday, January 20th at the time listed below your team.  Please make sure and vote to elect the captain your team wants!!!!
